Torino 2-0 AC Milan

AC Milan's top four hopes suffered a major setback after falling to a 2-0 defeat to Torino on Sunday evening.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Andrea Belotti handed the home side the lead from the penalty spot in the 58th minute.

The win was sealed for in the 68th minute through Álex Berenguer's strike as Torino move up to sixth spot, while Milan will end the weekend in seventh.

Milan also ended the game with 10 men after Alessio Romagnoli was given his marching orders with nine minutes left in the second half.

Frosinone 0-2 Napoli

Napoli maintained their grip on second spot after registering a 2-0 win away to Frosinone on Sunday afternoon.

Dries Mertens put the visitors ahead on 19 minutes with his 13th goal of the campaign.

Amin Younes sealed the win for Carlo Ancelotti's in the 49th minute as they moved eight points clear of third-place Inter Milan.

Sampdoria 1-2 Lazio

Lazio kept their top-six hopes alive with a 2-1 victory over Sampdoria, who seem destined for a mid-table finish.

Felipe Caicedo was the hero for the visitors after netting first-half a brace to take his tally to eight league goals this season.

Serie A golden boot leader Fabio Quagliarella pulled a goal back for the hosts on 57 minutes, but the visitors were able to hold on for the win.

AS Roma 3-0 Cagliari

AS Roma remain in contention for a top-four finish after thrashing Cagliari on Saturday evening.
  Federico Fazio, Javier Pastore and Aleksander Kolarov were on target to lead Roma to victory on the night.
