Ayanda Patosi has sent a message of support for his former teammates at Cape Town City, ahead of their crucial cup match this weekend.
The Citizens will be away in Mpumalanga on Sunday for their Nedbank Cup quarter-final match against Kaizer Chiefs at the Mbombela Stadium.

When he left City to join Iranian club Esteghlal in January, Patosi had already played one match for the Mother City outfit in their Nedbank Cup campaign, as they defeated SuperSport United 2-0 in the Last 32 round of the competition at the start of the competition.
The 26-year-old midfielder's message to his former teammates is clear, and that is for them to go all the way to add another piece of silveware to the club's trophy cabinet, following their MTN8 success at the start of the season.
"The game will be tough for sure as Chiefs is not an easy team to beat away. But I have faith in City and the team they have," Patosi told the Siya crew.

"At City, there are no stars, everyone works for each other and they are a good group with a good technical team," he added.
"So, they (City) have a big chance to win the game and go all the way to win another trophy. All the best to the guys and I'm sure they will make Cape Town proud," concluded the Khayelitsha-born player.
