After beating Crotone 2-0 on Saturday, all Conte and his players needed was for second-placed Atalanta to drop points in their league clash with Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon.

Fortunately for the Nerazzurri, Atalanta were held to a 1-1 draw, subsequently handing Inter their first league trophy since Jose Mourinho took them to the title in the 2009/10 season.

Excited supporters flocked to the streets of Milan to celebrate the joyous occasion, although there will be concerns as to the social-distancing rules that were broken, with Italy one of the countries hardest-hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
