Soccer Laduma selects the six best and four worst performers, following Maritzburg United's 3-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals on Sunday.

BEST:
Bevan Fransman: 7/10
He was solid in his centre-back role and cut out numerous Sundowns attacks with well-timed tackles or pass interceptions. He was also a threat in attack at set pieces and saw a 24-yard set-piece effort sail just inches over the target.
Lebohang Maboe: 7/10
He was lively in his creative midfield role and worked tirelessly to help in defence and to get forward in attack. He provided some good through balls to set Martizburg into the final third from midfield. He also got his side's equalising goal with a fine strike.
Fortune Makaringe: 8/10
He was very good in his attacking midfield role and was a constant threat down the flanks and through the middle of the park, where he gave the Maritzburg defence some major headaches. His off-the-ball runs were also very good and he grabbed his side's third goal with a clinical finish. He was given the 'man of the match' award for his efforts.
Themba Zwane: 7/10
He was a great source of attack for Sundowns down the flanks. He used his speed and skill to get the better of his markers and supplied some great passes and crosses to give his team-mates goal scoring chances.
Sibusiso Vilakazi: 7/10
Playing just behind the striker, Vilakazi worked hard to create space and scoring chances for his teammates with his off-the-ball running and passing. He also had a few efforts on goal which went narrowly wide of the target or were brilliantly saved by the keeper.
Percy Tau: 7/10
He was his usual threatening self in attack. He was marked very closely and rarely given time on the ball. However, when he did have the ball he looked dangerous as he created scoring chances for his teammates with his clever passing, including the assit for his side's first goal.
WORST:
Deolin Mekoa: 5/10
Mekoa struggled with the pace of the game and was not very useful in his creative midfield role. He struggled to get his foot on the ball and when he was in possession, he gave it away cheaply with some poor passing.
Andrea Fileccia: 5/10
The Mariztburg attacker was not at his best. He often found space down the right flank, but his crossing was extremely poor. Besides that, he was not really a threat to the Sundowns defence.
Wayne Arendse: 5/10
Arendse struggled in his centre-back role. He was often beaten for pace and gave the ball away cheaply with some poor passing. He was also partly to blame for his side's second goal.
Oupa Manyisa: 5/10
The central midfielder was hardly in the game. His job was to control the flow of the game and provide a buffer in front of the back four, but he did not do that. In attack his passing was poor and he gave the ball away cheaply.
