After accusing Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola of disliking African players, Yaya Toure has continued his attack on his former boss, saying he is "manipulative and messes with players' heads".

Toure spoke to France publication L'Equipe earlier this week, during which he stated that he wants to expose the Spaniard for not liking African players.
In new quotes translated by Get French Football News, he has now suggested that some of Guardiola's players "hate" their coach.
"Like all players, I would joke with my coaches," Toure told L'Equipe, as cited by GFFN.
"With (Laurent) Banide, (Laszlo) Boloni, (Roberto) Mancini, (Manuel) Pellegrini. But, eventually, you reach a common ground and reconcile.
"With Pep, it's impossible because he's so rigid. The other players won't publicly say it, but some have grown to hate him.
"He's manipulative and messes with players' heads."
Toure also explained why he believes his relationship with Guardiola was so poor during his final two years at City.
"Maybe he was jealous and thought I was his rival. That's probably it," he added.
"We gave weird looks to each other. He would observe and gauge me without saying anything.
"I speak Catalan, Spanish and English. That should be enough to communicate with me. I guess not…
"Every time we ran into each other, he seemed uncomfortable. As if I blocked the light on him. As if he understood how to read me perfectly."

Toure will leave City as a free agent after the club decided not to extend his contract. He seems to be keen to stay in England, with his agent suggesting he would join any of the top six sides for an astonishing wage of just R17 a week.
