With Leroy Sane's transfer from Manchester City to Bayern Munich having already been confirmed, Pep Guardiola has now spoken about his side's next departure.
The Spaniard, who has won more games in his first 150 Premier League matches than any other manager, was full of praise for David Silva after the 34-year-old produced a Man of the Match performance against AFC Bournemouth.
Silva scored City's opener with a sublime free-kick before providing the assist for Gabriel Jesus' 39th minute strike, and has been in superb form since the Premier League's restart, but Guardiola has insisted there is no chance he will stay beyond this season.
"He has decided to leave, he has said many times," the Spanish tactician said, as quoted by ESPN.
"I think he wants to finish after 10 seasons here.
"He's been in incredible top form since we came back from the lockdown.
"He played another exceptional game and scored again, two times in a row a fantastic goal.
"Hopefully he comes back for a farewell game that he more than deserves and he can find a place for the last years of his career."
Silva has scored six goals and assisted 10 further strikes in 26 EPL appearances so far this season.
The Spaniard will leave City on a free transfer when the campaign ends, and has been linked with moves to Qatar, David Beckham's Inter Miami, Japanese side Vissel Kobe – where his former Spain teammate Andres Iniesta currently plays – and Real Betis in LaLiga.
