It seems that, before the team had even begun to exist, Cape Town City share an interesting and intricate relationship with Orlando Pirates. Firstly, the teams have swapped coaches, and now, they seem to be swapping players too. The latest in this series is Tshepo Gumede. Is Eric Tinkler building a seriously dangerous squad in the Cape of Good Hope?
Many supporters were in despair at Gumede's departure from Orlando Pirates, and felt that he could have been useful in the upcoming season.
