FC Barcelona star Gerard Pique seems to have aimed an early jibe at arch-rivals Real Madrid in the build-up to the UEFA Champions League group stage draw on Thursday.
Arsenal In UCL Group Of Death With Real Or Barca?
The Spaniard hosted a live QA session on his private Twitter account on Wednesday night, giving fans the opportunity to ask him anything they wanted.
The former Manchester United defender was asked by one supporter who he would prefer to the face in the upcoming Champions League draw, and Pique took no time to get his first dig of the season in.
"An easy group. In the last 16, Italy's third place. In quarters, Germany's eighth place," he tweeted, translated from Spanish.
"In the semis, England's fourth place. The second leg always at home."

The response has been interpreted by many as a jab at Real's run in Europe last season, during which they beat Roma, Wolfsburg, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid after the group stage, with Pique seemingly suggesting this was an easy route to the UCL title for the Madrid club.
