Date: 24 June 2025

Al Ahly came into the clash knowing that only a win would suffice on the day while hoping either Inter Miami or Palmeiras lose in the other group clash.
The Egyptian side took the lead on 15 minutes when Wessam Abou Ali bagged the team's first goal at the tournament with a neat finish into the far corner after being played in by Hamdi Fathy.
Porto managed to level matters in style eight minutes later when Rodrigo Mora picked up the ball outside the and dribbled past three players before scoring from a tight angle.
Jose Riveiro's men were able to restore their advantage on the stroke of halftime when Abou Ali got his second goal of the night by converting a penalty.
The second half opened up quite lively as William brought Porto level on 50 minutes before Abou Ali completed his hat-trick a minute later to put Al Ahly ahead of the third time in the contest.
The pendulum swung once again after highly-rated Samu Aghehowa equalised for the Portuguese giants in the 53rd minute, but Riveiro's men went on to restore their lead ten minutes later as Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane collected a pass on the edge of the box and sent a superb strike into the far corner.
However, there would be no win for Al Ahly as Porto snatched an equaliser in the 89th minute when Pepe found the back of the net with a lovely strike from distance, which confirmed the elimination for both sides.
