It seems there are one too many goats on Noah's Ark. The Amakhosi faithful are asking for two things: first, sell players; secondly, buy players. The supporters know the money is there to buy players, they are just not too sure why it hasn't happened earlier. Another concern for the supporters is that the Naturena club may not be able to sell its albatrosses.
"Who gonna buy these cows?" one Soccer Laduma website user, forman, asked.
This was in relation to an earlier discussion in which supporters called for the team's ineffective strikers, such as Bongani Ndulula and Siphelele Mthembu, to be offloaded.
"Why did they sign Ndulula and Mthembu in the first place?" another reader, Dope ZN, queried.
"Ndulula can be good as a cameraman or a high jump athlete. He is tall, after all." Diski-nine-nine joked.
The big issue here is that, in order to buy players, you need to offload some. Also, you would want to get a good return on your sale… Is that possible in Kaizer Chiefs' case? The supporters think not...
"If they place them on the market, who will buy them anyway? Unless that person has no vision." – Matwalicosi
"We kindly thank them for the memories." – solomane
Do you think Chiefs have set themselves up for a large financial loss?
