Kaizer Chiefs need to make some changes to improve their fortunes. This is common knowledge. What is not agreed upon is the method in which they should improve. One Chiefs legend has suggested that the answer may lie in Bernard Parker hanging up his boots, here is what the supporters think…
Kaizer Chiefs legend Mike Mangena has come out to say that Bernard Parker should hang up his boots. Parker is currently 30 years old.
Many supporters have said that 30 years old is not too old to be playing football and that Parker still ahs a lot to offer, should he decide to learn from the likes of Collins Mbesuma and Siyabonga Nomvete and carry on with his career. Many have suggested that he should do so at a different club though.
“Retirement at an age of 30 doesn't sound right Mr. Sporo. He needs to be benched, he needs to fight for his place in the team but as the rest of the strikers, none of them have been convincing. However, I'd agree that they have not be given the chance that has been given to Paker.” - Soccerrocket
“Nomvete is still running nje, Parker must change teams, Chippa would welcome him with open hands.” – juneroz
And then there are those that think Parker is a perfectly fine striker but that he is currently being utilized in the wrong position.
“I blame steve for all this, why keep playing him as a lone striker?” – Soldier4khosi
