What a Soweto Derby!
This past weekend’s Soweto Derby was a great advertisement for PSL football, and although the Kaizer Chiefs fans are far from happy with the 3-1 loss to Orlando Pirates, it was an entertaining game of football.
The Soweto giants will be in action again this coming weekend, in a Telkom Knockout semi-final clash, while Mameodi Sundowns and SuperSport United fight it out in a Tshwane derby, in the other of the two semi-finals.
While we all wait in anticipation for the TKO semis, the Siya crew is investigating the latest news in Mzansi football.
In this week’s edition of Soccer Laduma, issue 946, we look into Robert Ng'ambi’s situation at Platinum Stars as well as Bidvest Wits and their transfer strategy.
We have news coming out from Kaizer Chiefs on a few of the Glamour Boys, including the likes of Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Morgan Gould, while we report back on a high-profile Orlando Pirates target, as well as Bucs’ head coach, Eric Tinkler.
There are more exits on the cards from the Mamelodi Sundowns camp, while the club continues to look for reinforcements.
In other news, we report back on the South African U23 team, Moroka Swallows and their future, while we investigate Sibusiso Vilakazi and his future.
What do you want to read about in this week’s Siyagobhoza? Let me know and I will get the crew to investigate for you.
Cheers, Eddie
