Orlando Pirates were out for revenge this weekend in their Telkom Knockout Challenge semi-final encounter against SuperSport United, after suffering a 6-1 defeat in their previous match against Matsatsantsa. However, Stuart Baxter's charges added yet more salt to the wounds of the Black and White.
Speaking to Supporters Club, SuperSport fan Jones expressed his delight over his team's victory over the Buccaneers this past weekend.
"I told you that my team wasn't going to be harsh on Pirates, we didn't want to embarrass them," he said.
"It was a good game and the boys played well as usual.
"We kept Tendai Ndoro under control because he was the guy were we worried about.
"We had our chances in the second half but we did not score.
"I am just happy that we have made it to the final. This cup is ours!"
