Mamelodi Sundowns' loss in the first leg of their CAF Champions League tie with AS Vita on Sunday means they will have it all to play for in the return fixture in two weeks' time.
They were beaten by the same scoreline by Zimbabwean outfit Chicken Inn in the first leg of their first-round tie in the competition, and when they play at home in the second leg against the Congolese, they will turn the tide, according to a prominent Downs supporter, who is well-known as "China".
"I thought we were taking a draw out of that match," he said.
"The boys have to step up their game in the next round if they want to remain in the continental competition; it's the only way.
"They should play like they did against Chicken Inn, and then we'll be through to the next round.
"I think we played a little bit defensive, and when we thought we had a draw, they hit us while our eyes were closed. The Kinshasa-based outfit took advantage of playing at home.
"Our next match against Polokwane City should give us a good warm-up for the second leg."
