The Return Of Shabba? The Return Of Attacking Football?

Kaizer Chiefs have had a miserable start to the season and disappointing end to last season. To add salt to the wounds, star player Siphiwe Tshabalala has been out for the last two games with injury, but supporters are hoping his return will bring on some attacking football.

Many supporters are calling for nothing more or less than attacking football in the Kaizer Chiefs set up. The return of Shabba has largely been received as a positive in this regard.

Meanwhile supporters continue to argue about the correct formation for Kaizer Chiefs, many have called the side too defensive under Komphela, and many have asked for a change in formation.

“In Shaba I believe the guy is good with what he do,he will give the team stability with speed set piece. and Buchanan the Boy is marvelous. Khune, Maphahle, Gordinho Cardoso, Masilela, Buchanan, Katzande, Shaba, Twala, Parker, and Letlotlo That is a 4-3-3 formation.” – modimo wabollo Ericsson

“Please cowsteve stop your defensive system.our style of play is to attack.” – Nyathiej04

“With Shabba back I'm overwhelmed with joy even though many consider him as a burden, I enjoy his play as Chiefs will have a bit of tempo going forward and as for Buchanan my lips are sealed as our coach will prefer Maluleka, Ekstien or Baloyi below par players ahead of Keagan. hence I'm happy they have recovered.” – Ben Kali

Will Shabba’s return be a good sign for Chiefs? What formation should Amakhosi play?
