We take a look at three for this week of these footballers who went on to play for other teams after leaving their teams and then returned. Paulos Masehe, Sifiso Myeni and Nathan Paulse. These lads didn’t burn the bridges with their clubs when they left hence they were welcomed back with open arms. There’s quite a lot of them in the PSL we will just talk about these three for now.
Nathan Paulse: The 34 year old centre forward started his career in 2001 at Ajax Cape Town where he currently plays now. He left Ajax in 2008 went to a number of teams in his career, the likes of Harmaby IF(Sweden), Platinum Stars, SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtics before making his move back to The Urban Warriors in 2013.
Paulos Masehe: The Horse started his playing career at Free State Stars where he is playing now. He went to both Sundowns and Pirates and then made his way back to Ealla Koto and will most probably retire there. He is 33 years old now.
Sifiso Myeni: The 28 year old Myeni started his career at The Studends in 2008 where he played 98 times scoring 14 goals before leaving for Pirates in 2012. He played 96 times for Pirates scoring 15 goals from 2012 to 2016, before he returned to his old club, Wits.
These lads are a perfect example of how our footballers should be careful of burning their bridges with the clubs. Our footballers can learn from these lads!
