Bloemfontein Celtic did not have the greatest of seasons last term, with poor performances, issues of non-payment and questions over ownership. This campaign also did not get off to the greatest start, with a 1-0 loss to Maritzburg United on Wednesday night.
Celtic's supporters invest heavily in the performance of their team, and they get understandably emotional when the side experiences an opening round loss like Wednesday night's. This sparked a conversation on the Siwelele's private Facebook group, and one supporter had an interesting view.
"The problem with Celtic is the fear of change," he said.
"Our players are so used to losing so much that they are afraid to play with the determination to win. I guess what I'm saying is: tonight's game was one of our weakest and most embarrassing games ever.
"We all know in soccer we should expect a L, W or, D, but it's better losing a fight you gave your all in than going to war without any defence mechanisms."

It seems the fans were not happy with the attitude displayed by the Celtic players on the night.
