Mamelodi Sundowns president Patrice Motsepe made some Sundowns supporters very happy this past weekend. They were over the moon with the fact that they were taken to Egypt and their team won the CAF Champions League. And it didn't end there for them – the president took them to a hotel for dinner on Sunday. Supporters club spoke to Downs fan Bassie to get her feelings on the experience she enjoyed courtesy of the club president.
"I would like to thank our president, Mr Patrice Motsepe, for his generosity and love that he showed to us throughout this journey. We want him to know that we are grateful to him," she said.
"He flew us to Egypt in three groups, we were 150, and he also flew some media people as well. We didn't pay a single cent, everything was paid for. The accommodation, Food and everything.
"On Sunday, he took us to Four Seasons Hotel for dinner, together with his wife and family.
"We want him to know that we love him, we really appreciate what he did for us. There's no one like him."
Do you think PSL team bosses should be more generous towards their club's supporters?
