Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Komphela is under a lot of pressure from his team's supporters. The Amakhosi faithful are fed up with the man at helm of their beloved team and some have recently shown their frustrations by throwing bottles at him.
The good thing, though, is that management has backed their coach, and most recently, senior players, including Siphiwe Tshabalala, have backed their mentor. Their supporters have mixed emotions, though... here's what some of them say:
"It's funny because they say that but do not show it when they play, I mean they are always losing or drawing and do not understand his style of play. Come tomorrow, a draw or loss will be needed. Steve must go, finish and klaar." – Ms_Lelo
"As much as Komphela backs players to perform! On the other hand, we back him to leave Kaizer Chiefs." – Stixzonenic
"True Shabba, you need to carry the blame, not the coach, Steve is doing a good job but the players mess up. Anyway, Zebras deserve to keep on losing." – Ilumadi
"So Tshabalala is telling us that they are the ones refusing to work? This madness must stop forthwith." – KhosiGums
What do you make of these supporters' sentiments?
