SSU Fan: Hopefully Downs Can Make South Africa Proud

As part of a cheeky new initiative by Supporters Club, we are getting supporters to comment on the state of affairs of rival teams. Today, we catch up with SuperSport United fan Jones Tshakoane, and asked him for his thoughts on Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

SLSC: What is your opinion on coach Pitso Mosimane?

JT: I still love Pitso! From the time that he was part of the SuperSport technical team and until today, I think he is a great coach and he is probably one of the best that South Africa has produced. Sundowns are lucky to have him in their team.

SLSC: Who do you think are their best players?

JT: That is easy, it will definitely have to be Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly.

SLSC: What are their weak points?

JT: Looking at the past season, it is difficult to point out the weak points because they were a well-rounded team. I think their defence played well, especially with Ramahlwe Mphahlele, their midfield was strong and their attack was incredible. I can't really pinpoint any faults.

SLSC: If you could choose any three players from Sundowns to join SuperSport, who would they be?

JT: Firstly, I would say that we should keep Mario Booysen as he was on loan from Downs. The other two would be Anthony Laffor and Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

SLSC: What is your message to the Ka Bo Yellow faithful?

JT: I want to encourage them to fully support their team as they compete in the CAF Champions League. Hopefully they can make South Africa proud and put us back on top in the continent.

What do you think of this SSU fan's views on Sundowns?
