Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela has urged Amakhosi supporters not to blame the players for the club's current form.
The Naturena Boys lost 1-0 to Chippa United on Wednesday evening, when they battled it out for three points at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
In his post-match interview with SuperSport, Komphela said it is better for the blame to be thrown at him and not the players as they are already under pressure.
Supporters have reacted to Komphela's statement... here's what some of them had to say:
"Blaming you won't put trophies to the cabinet, just tender your resignation and things will get back to normal. Some Khosi members have been hospitalised since last night and the cure for their wellness is for you (Komphela) to disappear." – @azzaniawest
"Stop your useless formation and play 4-4-2 or else leave our team in peace and not pieces. You were given more than enough time to put together a formidable team but you dismally failed to produce the desired results. Please do the honourable thing or the Military must take over Naturena village." – tshavhi2017
"Another trophyless season for the so-called family business! Good work Mr. Steve, keep those fruitless results coming and please remember not to resign in your prestigious position! Khosi I Remain." – Caeser Wa LeKhosi(SothoBoy)
Do you think the players should take responsibility for Amakhosi's current form?
