Awee guys and girls. I hope you are still enjoying this week’s edition of Soccer Laduma and you now know exactly what to do to give me and the entire editorial team your feedback.
Like I have been saying on this platform, we can only measure our success in serving you, based on your feedback.
A week or so ago, I asked you guys to submit some questions you’d like to see answered by the new Bafana Bafana coach, Ephraim Shakes Mashaba, in our interview in the next couple of weeks.
I’m happy to tell you that I spoke to Shakes and even mentioned this platform, where he will be getting questions from the supporters and he was more than happy to know that there is a Soccer Laduma ‘movement’ looking to give our most important stakeholder, the supporters, a voice.
The former Orlando Pirates team manager has welcomed this initiative and even promised to avail himself for an interview as soon as he returns from Sudan, where he will be making his Bafana debut in the Afcon qualifiers. Shakes has a hectic schedule in the next two weeks, as he is expected to finalise his technical team and also announce his first Bafana Bafana squad to do duty for the country.
You can expect Shakes’ interview in your favourite paper very soon and for those who have not yet submitted their questions for Shakes, you still have time to do just that.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys and let’s please keep spreading the word, so that more people are aware of this platform of engagement.
Cheers.
