Leagues across the world have taken swift action by suspending all activity following the outbreak of COVID-19 or Coronavirus. One reader has shared his opinion on what he thinks the PSL should do about the disease.
#coronavirus has been the talking point across social media and the news over recent weeks as the disease continues to plague countries across the world, South Africa included, with the number of people infected rapidly increasing.
Football in particular has been hit hard with players and staff of Arsenal, Juventus, Sampdoria, Chelsea and a host of other teams falling victim to the disease.

Football’s governing body have acted to suspend all football activity at least until April, while in the PSL it is business as usual, something that SL Supoporter @Setlaboswana feels should not be the case.
“PSL is complacent. Irvin Khoza must take the lead, if need be suspend the league until further notice. Life comes first before revenue.”
In fairness to the PSL, there has been no direct threat on the league or any player in particular; therefore, there is no immediate need for drastic action as yet.
