As we all know, Supporters Club enjoys giving our readers an opportunity to express their views and opinions regarding their favourite teams and players. Today, we hear from Messonaldo, who chats about Kaizer Chiefs' new signing Joseph Molangoane.
"Kaizer Chiefs announced the signing of Joseph Molangoane at the beginning of this month after a long period of not playing, following his dispute with his former team Chippa United.
"It didn't take the 28-year-old 24 hours to make his Chiefs debut. Under-fire Chiefs mentor Steve Komphela took a risk and put 'Tight' in the deep end in the hope of turning things around as they were trailing against the Chilli Boys by three goals to one.
"Komphela was convinced that the boy can bring magic in the team and change his fate. He continued giving him game time. And finally the boy repaid his coach's faith by scoring an important goal that inspired their win against Polokwane City.
"Molangoane proved to be quality by scoring a goal in a competitive match. Unlike those who shine in pre-season games only to disappear when season reopens. This puts pressure on players like Keagan Buchanan, whose contribution has been hardly noticed.
"Tight scored four goals and made five assists for Chippa in the previous season. If his form continues like this, Chiefs have found quality so cheap." – Messonaldo
