South African football can be more entertaining than your favourite late-night soapie at times. It's the personalities that really make it special, and today we discuss one Pitso Mosimane.
A slight bit of drama preceded the Tswane Derby for the MTN8 this weekend, as there was confusion as to which team was supposed to sit in which dugout.
Pitso Mosimane was reportedly unhappy with where his technical staff and substitutes had to sit – they were instructed to sit on the left-hand side of the field when he felt like they should be sitting on the right. The supporters have described this as Jose Mourinho-like behaviour.
"That's the Jingles Mourinho Pitso I know." – JarDowns
"Pitso should get a job from one of the soapies or dramas on television because he is quite a character." – Soccer "Diski" Fan
"Pitso, South African Jose Mourinho." – mlindelimchunu
"Let the man sit on the same side as his ancestors, where the muti is strong." – Ndeba56
Do you think Pitso is right to have caused a fuss over this matter? Do you think there is a place for strong personalities in our football?
