We live for a well written piece of writing and debate in Supporters Club. This morning we received some thoughts from one of our esteemed supporters urging the Khosi Nation to be patient – all is not lost, the future is bright, and Steve Komphela is not doing a bad job…
“Please allow me to respond to a Get Published article by one lodrick1990 titled, “It’s time for KC to give their fans a say in the team.”
“I have missed just three of Kaizer Chiefs home games since Komphela took over. I’m a Khosi4life through and through, I attend just about all their games.
“There are times when I have questioned Mr. Komphela’s line up’s and tactics, but at the end of the day I’m a supporter and my duty is to support the team, in good times and more so in bad times.
“I was at Moses Mabhida on Sunday and I can, without fear or favour, tell “lodrick1990” that if Thela Ngobeni was not in goals for Free State Stars on Sunday, Chiefs would have buried FSS by no less than six goals in the 90 minutes and we would all be singing a different tune today.
“Yes, Mr. Komphela is in his second season as the Head Coach, but least we forget that he has so many new players to look at. He is rebuilding our team, and although we lost on Sunday, there is definitely some light at the end of the tunnel. We are going in the right direction.
“Need I remind my fellow Amakhosi of the “#PitsoMustFall” placards and bricks and bottles he dodged whilst being escorted out of the stadium a few months ago – in a few days Sundowns will proudly be wearing jersey’s with a star on their logo.
“Johannesburg, just like Rome, was not built in a day.
“#SteveKomphelaMustStay.”
