Reader's Voice: 'King Billiat' Will Outscore Pirates and Sundowns Combined

Tshini!

Kaizer Chiefs' marquee signing Khama Billiat has justified his worth after matching his stats for the 2017/18 season as of this month. The attacker has had 49 shots, 17 of them on target, and 3.33 shots as well as 17.7 final third passes per 90 minutes.

Kaizer Chiefs fans have warmed up to their new signing. Soccer Laduma reader Wash & Wear believes Billiat will outshine his competitors in Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates:

“King Billiat will score more goals than [Jeremy] Brockie, [Thokozani] Sekotlong, [Justin] Shonga, [Thabiso] Kutumela, [Toni] Silva and [Augustine] Mulenga combined.”

Simzha Wekhosi, a Soccer Laduma reader, shared the same opinion as Wash & Wear about Billiat's abilities as a player. Wekhosi feels Chiefs made the right decision to sign the attacker and that he can improve once the whole Amakhosi squad gels:

“Yeah, Chiefs did well to sign him, he’s been working hard since joining the club. If this team can gel well in all departments, Khama will take Lesley Manyathela's Golden Boot with 18 goals. Khooooosi I remain, namanje.”

However, despite Billiat's impressive performances, Soccer Laduma reader Mxhosab thinks Sundowns can do without him after Chiefs bought the player:

“At least he won us the Champions League hence we have a star on top of our badge and now we are cruising to the ninth Premiership title in record time without him. Dawana rule, boys!”

Do you agree with Wash & Wear that Billiat will continue his impressive form and outscore his competitors at Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates combined? Let us know what you think and leave a comment below.
