Mamelodi Sundowns will be playing in the CAF Champions League against AS Vita on Sunday. The Congolese outfit will be hoping to put yet another South African team to the sword after beating Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 on aggregate in 2014.
Orlando Pirates remains the only Mzansi team to have won the CAF CL trophy, and one of their passionate supporters, Jwarha, has sent his message of well wishes to Bafana Ba Style on their quest for African glory.
"To all the players, team and supporters of Mamelodi Sundowns, it is very important to respect the nation and represent it to the best of your abilities," he said.
"You have to make sure that you go out there and represent us all. When you win in Africa, you will be restoring the dignity of our country.
"The reality is that the countries from the northern hemisphere are the ones that dominate in this competition, and for that they take us lightly, but if Sundowns could go on and win this tournament, then in the near future we'll have more teams competing in the continent, and that might also encourage Bafana Bafana to do well in the continent.
"We wish them a great journey and all the best of luck in the competition, all the way to the finals."
