'It's Not Fair To Be A Khosi Fan'

The transfer window has closed, and now it is time for teams and their supporters to sit and reflect on what their various managers and coaches did to strengthen their chances of getting silverware this season. One result of this window has been the Khosi Nation's debates on how effective their team's transfer dealings were.

Many supporters in the Khosi Nation have woken up in a state of distress this morning as they do not believe enough action was taken to rectify the horrifying results of last season and the shocking start to this one.

Chiefs have made a number of signings this transfer window, but many of them were free agents, some were injured and others are yet to feature in the team. While there were some impressive signings made, including Ramahlwe Mphahlele, many supporters were expecting more marquee signings, such as Sundowns' acquisition of Sibusiso Vilakazi, SuperSport's purchase of Tefu Mashamaite or Bidvest Wit signing of Sifiso Myeni.

"Where are the marquee players that Kaizer publicly promised to bring to his team? He informed all and sundry that there will be a number of new big-name players to help the coach perform to the optimum and many would be released to make way for the new... nothing happened!" – mapaito

"Remember, this is Pretoria Soccer League (PSL), that's why all the quality players are going to SuperSport or Downs. Sorry Soweto, because Pretoria ya rocka." – Kabrinho

"I'm now waking up as a big Real Madrid fan. Enough about Mzansi football. Especially big, thick, hard-headed Bobby. Overseas football will get many supporters this season, especially Khosi fans. Bobby o ya tella, finish en klaar. Anyway, goodbye my Kaizer Chiefs. I enjoyed many years with you up until Bobby's arrival. Destroyed everything, I lost so much just for you. Spain, here I come." – T Boss

"Kaizer Chiefs won't comment on this one... 1. Because it's not a former Chiefs player. 2. The management is snoring while teams are signing. 3. No free agents at this stage. 4. They're worried about the top 8 spot. 5. It's not fair, man, to be a Khosi fan." – Allen.Ak05.Matjhila.Khasto43

Do you see this transfer window as a failure for Kaizer Chiefs?
