'If You Are A Pirates Supporter, You Can't Be Happy With The Results'
Orlando Pirates face a tough encounter going into this weekend as they gear up for the Nedbank Cup semi-final against Free State Stars at Goble Park. They suffer from a severe lack of confidence heading into the game off the back of some below-par results. On top of this, according to one prominent supporter, they suffer from a lack of energy too…
Supporters Club caught up with devout Orlando Pirates fan Mama Joy to find out what went wrong against Chippa United (they lost 2-0).
"Chippa needed the three points more than us," she said.
"Our players didn't have energy, they didn't want top eight. The Chilli Boys were all over us.
"I am so disappointed. You cannot be an Orlando Pirates supporter right now and be happy with the results."
Turning her attention to this weekend's fixture against Stars, Mama Joy feels anything other than a victory is not an option.
"This game is a must-win. We need this game because we need to go to Africa, that's all we have," she added.
"The past three games have been a disaster, we need to go full force! We are going to win 3-0."
On a different topic – Lehlohonolo Majoro's tweet earlier this week stating he was tired of being a spectator – Mama Joy believes the player was out of line.
"He was wrong, that was not on," she added.
"If you are unhappy, go to the coach, if he does not listen then go to the chairman. If I am unhappy at work, I must go to my supervisor.
"It is just not on what he did, telling all of us instead of his team. Don't break protocol."
