'I Cry For The Olden Days Of Amakhosi'

A concerned supporter has written into Supporters Club regarding how he misses the good old days, and how something has gone wrong in the supporting culture of Kaizer Chiefs.

“Although Amakhosi fans will always out number fans of the opposition, we are not as vibrant in cheering our team on as Celtic and Sundowns supporters. The reason is simply that fans of other clubs wear the same colors as their teams and group together to cheer their teams. We Amakhosi fans wear all colors and form pockets of five, eight or 14 countless groups singing many songs at the same time. It’s like our branches, instead of cheering as one big family we seem to be more interested in out doing one another in singing and dancing and showing different colors because different branches wear different colors to the games.” –
