Recently, after a string of poor performances and results for the national rugby team, a coaching indaba was called in order to rectify the situation. One of our supporters has written in to say that Bafana Bafana could take a leaf out of the Springboks' book.
Local supporter Gio de Waal wrote in to Supporters Club to give his opinion on the coaching situation in South Africa.
"We should learn from the Springboks. I don't know where the communication is? Look at the rugby team, the results were going poorly, so what did they do? They called a meeting," he said.
"Not just any meeting, they got all the coaches together and discussed a way forward, they identified problems. All the local coaches came together and the national coach put his pride aside and listened.
"Imagine a room where we had Dan Malesela, Pitso Mosimane, Gavin Hunt, Steve Komphela, Clint Larsen, etc., all sitting and identifying all the problems in Bafana Bafana and deciding what the best starting XI is, we could plot the destruction of the world."
