Kaizer Chiefs' George Maluleka has been the talk of the town recently as his performances for the Naturena-based side have been outstanding.
"Mido" has been mooted as the replacement for Reneilwe Letsholonyane by former Amakhosi midfielder Siyabonga Nkosi, who believes the 28-year-old has the potential to be a better player than "Yeye" was for Chiefs.
The supporters have reacted to Nkosi's views, and there were mixed emotions as some feel that no player can take the place of Letsholonyane at Chiefs.
"To find the best in George Maluleka, coach, please don't play him as a number eight, he lacks creativity, rather give him the number 10 role behind strikers, that's where he shines." – Maloh11
"George is a good player, sometimes he has a bad run of being out of form, but his game has matured during the years and he's slowly but surely making his mark in the team. I was a bit sceptical of him in his first season but now that tune has changed to me finding the confidence in this player." – ksleg
"You must be kidding! Yeye is the master of the game, he makes sure he owns the midfield." – Juju F
"No Siya, we must know the difference between an apple and a pear, they are not the same. He must try and learn how to hold on to the ball much more." – Eishmadoda
Do you think Mido can be the player to own the Chiefs midfield?
