'We Are Sick & Tired Of Going To Stadiums For Draws' – Fan's Comment

The build-up for the Soweto derby which is set to take place next week Saturday, 21 October, has already begun.

Orlando Pirates have had a fair start to the 2017/18 season, while Kaizer Chiefs have been under a dark cloud as their performances from the previous campaign have dragged into this year. Head coach Steve Komphela is under fire by the Amakhosi faithful and there is no doubt that he will be in the spotlight when he faces the Buccaneers.

One supporter shared his view and he is hoping to see many goals being scored on the day.

"We, as fans, we want to see goals that day! We are sick and tired of going to the stadium for draws. The two teams should score goals like nobody's business. The Tshwane derby has become better than the Soweto derby. We must complain because whenever they play head to head, their match is depressing and sick. The stadium will be full for nothing and the results always disappoint us. The match should make us proud and prove to us why the Soweto derby is famous around the world. The match will motivate players that they need to step up every match and give their all. We want both teams to play attacking football, both teams should not park the bus. Milutin Sredojevic and Steve Komphela, may the best man win. I'm an Orlando Pirates fan and I would love to see my team taking three points away." – Motsitsi118

Pirates must score 3 or 4 goals to force Chiefs to fire Kompela.Chiefs is dead and Pirates has a very easy job of just taking points home.I wish Chiefs fans dont go to this game because they might do things that they will regret doing the following day.

The thrill of the Soweto derby is gone. This is due to those fixed draws. They will draw again this time the score being a long boring 0-0 scoreline. Good yawn.

Who cares weather you come or not the atmosphere its great at stadium and the goals are cherry on top,the Soweto derby will always be the best in South Africa on that note of derby dont tell us about that Band derby its more of a game for Dunusa to scout players at SSU thats why the results always favour one team.
