Kaizer Chiefs have finally confirmed the arrival of Madagascar international Andriamirado "Dax" Andrianarimanana at the club.
Amakhosi supporters could not have been more ecstatic upon hearing the news, having waited for more than a month for the striker to make his way to Naturena Village after the club announced him as their new signing in June 2018.
Supporters Club caught up with Chiefs fan Mama Fefe, who expressed her joy over the arrival of Dax. She also shared her expectations ahead of tonight's game – the Glamour Boys will be in action against log leaders Bidvest Wits at FNB Stadium.
"I'm happy and not happy at the same time about the news of Dax now being officially at the club," she said.
"Reason being, coach Solinas did not bring his own assistant coach, meaning Patrick Mabedi will carry on with the duties. That doesn't really sit well with me, knowing that he might have an influence on how Solinas should do things at the club.
"Solinas might end using the same tactics as previous coach Steve Komphela and that won't do any justice. However, we will support him. What most people don't understand is that we want a coach who believes in cups.
"We are playing against Wits and we have to win tonight. The Clever Boys are the current log leaders and if we allow them to win, it will be difficult for us to catch them. If the coach can give the likes of Mahlasela, Ntiya-Ntiya and Molangoane regular game time, that would be amazing.
"We all know Molangoane is a game-changer and it would be great seeing him being given a chance to play."
