Kaizer Chiefs have remained a talking point among supporters following their performance against Bidvest Wits, in which the Soweto giants lost 3-1 at FNB Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Glamour Boys' poor display was followed by a backlash from their supporters, with some calling for several senior players, who they felt are not performing well, to be dropped from the team.
Supporters Club member and Orlando Pirates fan DTChappyRATbyBIRTh has defended the players in question, however, particularly Amakhosi's long-serving striker Bernard Parker.
"Parker is not a problem and he is willing to give his best," he said.
"The coach is to blame for playing Parker out of position. Parker has been playing more as a winger in these past two games, but he slows down the team. Parker is a striker and the coach is expecting him to do the job of Mahlasela or Molangoane.
"As for Shabba, I don't know why Chiefs fans are crying about him. I mean, Shabba is the best player at the club. The problem lies with the coach, he doesn't have a plan for Shabba, he doesn't know how to utilise him.
"The coach is just fielding Shabba and not giving him instructions on how to play, you have Ntshangase who slows the game and Shabba is a fast man. Ntshangase must play just behind the striker, the same position Billiat is playing, and Billiat must be an out-and-out striker.
"Find someone like Jayiya to play in the middle and Katsande is good where he is. It's just that his style suits only if you play with three defenders. Yes, three at the back and have Katsande to watch over them in the same role. Shabba left wing and Molangoane/Mahlasela right wing.
"I'm telling you, Chiefs will kill teams but I'm 100% sure that Solinas will never think of this. One last thing: Amakhosi supporters must stop blaming Mabedi because it's not his fault, it is the head coach's fault."
