The latest news emerging out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that Issa Sarr may be on his way out, with a possible move to Al Ahly mooted. The Senegalese has had an interesting time in the Ghost Ship; he has had some great performances, but some inconsistent ones too. Will the supporters miss him? Can he still do some good for Pirates?
It seems that the supporters are split over whether Sarr should jump (ghost) ship or not. A few have said they will be happy to see him go.
"Yhooo, the sooner they snatch him the better, even if he is for free!!!!" – nxiza
"He is free to go, don't even ask Khoza. Just take him." – sick note
"Sarr should accept the offer rather than being a scapegoat at rats." – Schweinstriker_31
Others think he can still add value to the side.
"Eish, l will miss this guy; the guitar man, the hard worker, he never gave up. l will miss you." – Mehluli Moyo
Most, however, seem to think Sarr is a decent footballer and that he has provided good service for the Buccaneers, but also that he perhaps does not suit the team's latest style or that his absence could pave the way for another player.
"Like I've said, Sarr is a very good player but he is failing to match Bucs' style of play. He clicked well with Chippa United and Platinum Stars, that is why Bucs acquired his services." – Stixzonenic
"I hope this paves the way for the signing of Thami Sangweni or the return of Andile Jali. Our midfield is very thin, we need a ball-playing defensive/holding midfielder. Sarr is a good player but, in my opinion, he cannot pass." – Mlungisi Zondo
"Sarr is not that bad. It's just that he is too soft. Anyway, he is 30, so he is past his peak. We need someone aggressive like Gyimah." – Dumanie
Can Sarr still add value at Bucs? Is he suited to Pirates' style of play?
