Confirmation has finally come through from our Siya Crew the former Kaizer Chiefs defender Morgan Gould has made a move to Stuart Baxter's SuperSport United.
The player has returned to Matsatsantsa after spending four years at Naturena, during which his playing time was limited by injury. Gould reunites with former Chiefs coach Baxter and it does leave one questioning the signing made by the coach, knowing that the hard tackler's game time could be plagued by injury. But, then again, let us not forget that the English mentor has a few tricks up his sleeves and definitely has an eye for building up a formidable team.
Looking at the inclusion of Gould in the heart of the defence, teaming up with the likes of Clayton Daniels and Mario Booysen, there seems to be a great backline at United. Not forgetting the striking department that has previously showed glimpses of great performances to come.
It is definitely going to be an interesting season, and one team to keep your eye on is SuperSport United.
What do you think of Baxter's team? Do you think they have what it takes to be title contenders?
