"I am a huge supporter of kasi flavour and I believe going to Europe should no longer be the holy grail for our players," he said.
"Ironically, I also believe that kasi flavour could be what takes them to Europe, especially if they are given the freedom to demonstrate the effectiveness of it.
"You see, for our players playing in Europe, it's the equivalent to an artist who grew up drawing with his right hand and all of a sudden he has to use his left against artists who are using their right hands.
"South African soccer is an art that has a bit of science in it, and not a science that has a bit art in it. The art must prevail.
"We have to develop what we have, and turn it into what the world would like to have. To do that, we have to do away with the self-hate."
