The excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season can be felt all around South Africa. Among the most exciting elements is the knowledge that supporters will be welcoming two new coaches to the PSL – Kgoloko Thobejane and Allan Freese. They are very different to the coaches currently in the top flight, and in a season when many supporters grew to dislike the coaches of some of the bigger clubs and even the national team, these guys are a breath of fresh air.
Freese is the head coach of Highlands Park, who just recently gained promotion to the PSL. He was also previously with Platinum Stars, with whom he won the Telkom Knockout and MTN8 championships.
Many supporters have already forecasted some success for him in the PSL, saying that he may just be better than a lot of the coaches at the "bigger" clubs.

While Freese has largely been hailed as a master tactician, fellow former NFD coach Thobejane of Baroka FC is loved by the fans for another reason – he exudes confidence and dances with the fans. He is fearless in his approach to the game, and is confident of shaking the tree next season and upsetting a lot of the bigger teams.

How Highlands Park and Baroka FC will fare in the PSL next season remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain: the supporters are ecstatic to have two new coaches who will make the game more interesting, on and off the field. Let's hope they cause some upsets and keep the drama rolling.
What do you think of Freese and Thobejane? Would you like to see either of them coaching a big team?
