Free State Stars have appointed Serame Letsoaka as their new head coach after parting ways with Giovanni Solinas. The team has only won three of their past 15 matches and are struggling in 14th position.
Supporters Club spoke to Matshidiso Tshabalala, a loyal Free State Stars supporter who believes that Letsoaka will turn things around at the club.
"Firstly, we were so surprised to know Solinas left but there is nothing that we can do," she said.
"I am happy with the appointment of Serame, we need a local coach to turn things around.
"Now our aim is to make it to the top half of the log and I know that Letsoaka will get us there," she added.
"The supporters are tired of always being scared of being relegated and with a local coach, we always do well.
"We need to start winning so we can move on top.
"The club also needs to buy players, especially strikers and we need to start scoring goals," she ended.
Free State Stars' next game is away at Kaizer Chiefs on 7 February, when the PSL resumes.
