Toni Silva's open letter to Pitso Mosimane has sent shock waves across South Africa's football community and fans seem suspicious of the Mamelodi Sundowns head coach's transfer activities. According to Siya sources, Sundowns are getting closer to signing AmaZulu forward Emiliano Tade.
Many fans seem suspicious of Mosimane's plans now. In his open letter, Silva accused Mosimane of buying players to eliminate competition in the PSL and fans think he is doing exactly that with Tade.
Soccer Laduma reader Ernest Makuwa said this is a plan to weaken AmaZulu:
"It's because AmaZulu gave them a hiding. They want to weaken their team. I'm sure [Ovidy] Karuru is on their buying list as well."

Some fans believe that Silva's open letter should be a warning to Tade. Patience Malatji has warned the Argentine that he would be joining Sundowns at his own risk:
"Tade, go there and join the benchwarmers list at your own risk. Toni Silva has warned you. We know that Pitso [Mosimane] is buying quality players to weaken other teams, not to utilise them."

However, not all fans see the potential signing of Tade in a bad light. Ant_55 explained how he thinks Tade will benefit Masandawana:
"Experience wins you major trophies. Not youth. [Phakamani] Mahlambi and [Lebogang] Maboe will never win the CAF [Champions League] for Sundowns, never in a million years. But an EXPERIENCED player like Tade with his rich international experience would fare much better…"

Is Pitso signing Tade in an attempt to weaken AmaZulu, as Ernest Makuwa and Patience Malatji say? Or is Ant_55 right that Sundowns need him for his experience? Make your opinion count and leave your comments below.
