Bobby Motaung came out with a strong statement recently, that Chiefs struggled to buy quality footballers because certain clubs refused to sell to them or they adjust the prices of players unfairly when Chiefs are involved. One of our supporters has warned that the problem may stem from Amakhosi's management.
One of our supporters, Takamara, has suggested that Bobby Motaung's demeanor is what has cost Chiefs in terms of their ability to buy quality players:
"Clubs are punishing Chiefs for Bobby's arrogant outburst," he said.
"You can't blame clubs for refusing to sell to Chiefs because when Chiefs is doing well and winning trophies, Bobby attacks them verbally. Kaizer must just remove him, otherwise Chiefs will end up like Swallows.
"Now he's surprised clubs don't want to trade with Chiefs. Football business is not about creating enemies. It's big, but can become a very small world depending how you burn bridges."
