Orlando Pirates will visit a stubborn Maritzburg United at Harry Gwala Stadium tonight. This fixture produced six goals last season, and was followed by the sad passing of the late Mondli Cele, who was one of the goalscorers in that match. The Buccaneers are currently fifth on the log after collecting 18 points in 11 games, and tonight's visit to KZN will be a welcome one for their supporters there as it is the club's last visit to KZN for this year.
Supporters Club's Beaver Nazo spoke to prominent Bucs supporter Phillip Jwarha about the upcoming game.
"As I'm talking to you now, I'm driving to Maritzburg for this game," he said.
"We haven't forgotten what happened to us there last season. They are very dangerous at their own turf and our boys have to be focused for the entire 90 minutes.
"Both teams are scoring goals and the outcome of this game will be determined by who makes more mistakes. I believe we will win.
"I want to urge all Bucs faithful in KZN to come to the game in numbers. They must take this game as a Christmas gift from Pirates to them as they will only come to KZN next year now. We call this game a Christmas game."
Do you think Pirates will get maximum points in Maritzburg tonight?
