Tonight is the night we find out who will be in the MTN8 final against Bidvest Wits. The contestants are Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns. The first leg was a heated affair, in which nobody managed to draw blood. Tonight, however, Chippa find themselves in the Brazilians' backyard.
Supporters Club caught up with lifelong Sundowns supporter China to see how he was feeling ahead of the big match.
Beaver Nazo: Hey China, how are you doing?
China: Hi Beaver, all good man, no complaints.
BN: I's round two, the second leg of the MTN8 semi-final, with a 0-0 score line. Your thoughts, please?
China: Ey, it's difficult times for Sundowns, hey. We always cry for more games and we've got a pile of them now. It would be nice to reach two finals in the space of a month. Sundowns will go there and finish the job.
BN: Chippa United promised to give it a fight, how ready are your boys?
China: They must bring on the fight, we are more than ready for them. They cannot beat us in own backyard. Not now.
BN: Any draw with goals favours Chippa United, doesn't that worry you?
China: It doesn't worry me at all, Chippa will not score a goal against us at home, I promise you.
BN: Last time we spoke, you assured me that Sundowns are going to the final, are you still certain about that?
China: Very much so. There's more hunger in the team, Vilakazi will show SA what he's made of tonight.
BN: Any message for the boys ahead of this crucial encounter?
China: Well, like I said earlier, the only chance you have is when you are in both finals. Now we have to win tonight to be in the final to stand the chance of winning the trophy.
BN: China, good luck for both semi-finals, and thanks a lot for talking to us.
China: We need the luck, man. Thank you.
Do you think Sundowns' recent run of inconsistent form will be problematic for their confidence heading into the match tonight?
