The Kaizer Chiefs faithful seem to be divided when it comes to the team's recent performances, with some still standing by head coach Steve Komphela and the others pointing fingers at the players to step up their game. Heading into tonight's match against Bloemfontein Celtic, they will certainly be hoping to get a positive result.
Speaking to Supporters Club, Amakhosi die-hard Saddam Maake expressed his feelings about the situation at Naturena.
"This game is going to be a 'do or die' for us because we only have two remaining games (in 2016)," he said.
"I just want send my good luck to the players because they need it, and also the coach.
"An issue that I want my fellow supporters to understand is that we should be protecting the coach and the management of the team no matter what is going on.
"We all love Kaizer Chiefs and so we should be protecting the brand and if we draw or lose tonight, I'm pleading with the supporters to not throw missiles at the coach because some of us are sick and tired of hearing 'Steve Must Fall'.
"Looking at tonight's game, there are some of our regular players who will not play but that is not an excuse.
"There are a lot of players in the Chiefs team and they should all step up when they are needed and do the job.
"These players need to respect the team and the brand!"
