Kaizer Chiefs have lost in yet another cup encounter! Over the past weekend they suffered a 5-6 penalty shootout defeat to Free State Stars. Stars went ahead twice in the encounter but Amakhosi managed to equalise to take the game to the shootout.
Supporters club’s Beaver Nazo spoke to Saddam Maake, Kaizer Chiefs' legendary supporter.
“Our goalkeeper hurt us big time on the day.
"I’m not talking about Itu Khune but Thela Ngobeni," he added.
"He made sure that we suffer and I wanted to see him at the end of that game and ask him why he want to give me a heart attack.
“I have no words, but to say congratulations to Stars, it was their day.
"Sometimes God listens to 20 people’s prayers instead of 30 000 prayers," he continued.
"On the day He listened to 20 Free State Stars prayers instead of our 30 000 prayers.
"We tried our best, but luck was not on our side.
"Now we will play Mamelodi Sundowns and maybe we should ask Capitec Bank to sponsor us with a cup seeing that we are both out of Telkom knockout," he concluded.
Do you think Stars deserved to win the game?
