Cape Town Rocking The PSL!

Tuesday night was a good one for the Cape PSL sides. Both Cape Town City and Ajax Cape Town were on the right side of five-goal thrillers. Could this be the region that rocks the PSL this season?

Cape Town City have begun to prove their worth in the top flight of South African football. Under the guidance of coach Eric Tinkler, they have gone from strength to strength, beating some impressive teams and boasting some impressive line-ups.

"They are on fire. Ngoma and Manyama are deadly." – thato357

"Tinkler and his Cape Town City FC are a team to beat this season. The way they play, it's hard to beat them and they give opposition teams a good run for their money. Personally, when they robbed Mpumalanga Province of their only PSL team by buying Aces' status and changing it to CTC, I wanted them to get chopped from the PSL in their maiden season. Now I can safely and proudly say I wish them long life in the PSL, and they must continue with their robust and winning mentality." – Aka-Skobho

On the other side of Cape Town Stadium is Ajax Cape Town, who have had a shocking start to the season, preceded by a shocking finish to last season. Now, it seems there is a glimmer of hope for the Urban Warriors following their 3-2 victory over Platinum Stars, and it seems the supporters want Ajax to stick around.

"Well done, SA development Ajax Cape Town, we still need you in this league." – weezy911

"Well done to Ajax for registering their first win of the season. The position that Ajax find themselves in at the moment does not suit them. They need to pull their socks up." – Badelise

"This is the Ajax I know." – downs

Do you think these two Cape sides can grow into a genuine threat this season?
