As the season winds down to a close and everyone settles into a reflective mood, some supporters will be looking back and smiling upon their teams great efforts this season, while others will be wondering where it all went wrong. Chiefs fans have the knife out and are aiming it at management.
At the center of the Khosi Nation's grievances are: the lack of notable, big-money or high-quality signings during the transfer window, and the poor results that have come. A common finger of blame is often pointed at Bobby Motaung.
"All this catastrophe came through Bobby's signature." – SeaGate4
"We are all fed up with Bobby, he is the cause of all pains, strokes, high blood pressure, and heart attacks at Naturena… Doesn't give a damn about supporters… I'm starting to support Baroka now; they need supporters, not Bobby." – Daarilsolar
"Because Bobby doesn't listen to us supporters, let's not go to the stadiums to watch our team losing or drawing. Let's not even vote for players in the Carling Cup." – Okuh
It is important to remember that we cannot place all the blame for a team's poor performance on the team manager. There are many factors that go into a team's performance; however, there is one fact that remains: whatever is going on is breaking the supporters' hearts.
"I am so down. I mean so disappointed. It's a family business. What can we say? Because we speak and nobody cares. Our heart is broken. I don't even watch Chiefs play any more." – Choiceee
If you had the team manager's position, what changes would you make?
