Baroka FC played to a goalless draw against Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium in an ABSA Premiership encounter on Wednesday night. Now they turn their focus to their Telkom Knockout last eight battle against Cape Town City on Saturday. Supporters club spoke to Joe Phasha, a Bakgaga die-hard, about both games.
"We played very well against Kaizer Chiefs. The boys played their hearts out. We were playing away and we had to be more disciplined in our approach and I think we mastered that," he said.
"I want to thank all Bakgaga supporters who travelled to Moses Mabhida to support the boys.
"We now turn our focus to the last eight of the Telkom Knockout against Cape Town City. I'm sure everyone is aware of what we did to them when we travelled to Cape Town. They are our ticket to the semi-finals. Things are gonna be worse for them here, we will deal with them the same way we dealt with Platinum Stars.
"The boys cannot afford to disappoint the people of Polokwane."
Do you think Baroka will progress to the semis?
